There are a couple of changes with the series this year:

  • At all series tournaments you get points for entering and also points for tournament results (as in previous years)

Quadrangular Tournament

The Junior Quadrangular tournament was held at Whangarei Squash Club over the weekend.   The Northland team played some great squash with upsets along the way and very close ties throughout the weekend, some of which could have gone either way.

Auckland claimed the trophy for the 9th consecutive year finishing with 41 points over the three fixtures. The other three placings were extremely tight, with Waikato coming second on 28, BOP third on 26, and Northland fourth on 25.

It will be Waikato’s turn to host the event next year as the tournament is hosted on a rotation basis throughout the four regions.
