Results from Whangarei Open

The Whangarei Open held last weekend attracted good entries with players from Auckland, Kaitaia and plenty of local players stepping out for their first tournament of 2017.

Zoe Dykzeul took out the Ladies Open against Sacha Pou-Tito, while in the Mens Open  Finn Trimble defeated previous club member Vinny Robson, who now resides in Auckland.  It was great to see both Vinny and Frank Robson at the tournament.

There were plenty of battles across the divisions, and all games were played to PAR 11.  The tournament finished on Saturday night with a BBQ enjoyed by those who stayed on.
