The Whangarei Boys High first team placed 4th, with the second Boys High team 24th.  It was the first time Whangarei Boys had taken 2 teams to this national event.  There were 33 boys teams and 17 girls teams from all over New Zealand competing.

To top off a very successful weekend six Northland players were selected into the New Zealand Secondary Schools Team – Shea Ferguson, Chelsea Traill, Jordyn Chapman, Riley-Jack Vette-Blomquist, Freddie Jameson and Flynn Venmore.   Unfortunately due to Covid-19 there will be no matches against the Australian Secondary School teams this year.
