North Island Junior Under 13 title for Zac Laing

Zac Laing won the Under 13 boys title at the North Island Junior Age Group Championships which was held at the Kawaroa Park Squash Club in New Plymouth last weekend.  Ten Northland juniors made the trek to New Plymouth to enjoy a competitive and fun three days of squash.

Zac, who is from the Manaia Squash Club won his final against Auckland’s Max Bailey in a tough 4 set game 13/11, 6/11, 11/4, 12/10

In the Under 17 boys Freddie Jameson and Flynn Venmore battled it out for 3rd & 4th positions with Freddie prevailing this time.  Chelsea Traill placed 6th in the Under 17 girls with Josh Laing placing 9th in the U15 boys division.
