The individual event is now complete at the World Junior Champs in Bielsko-Biala,Poland.
After winning his first match in 3 against a local Polish junior, Finn went down to the eventual winner, 2nd seed Malaysian Ng Eain Yow. He then went on to win his next match in 5.
In his 4th match he was lucky enough to be chosen to play on the all glass court in the city square where he played a top 16 seed Egyptian Sakr Ziad – going down in an exciting 5 sets.
Meanwhile the NZ team has been seeded 9th for the Men’s World Junior Team Champs starting Friday night, and will take on India (4), Argentina (16/18) and Poland (19/21) in Pool D. We wish the team the best of luck!
